"Hedgehogs in the Hall" - Lucy Daniels

A part of "Animal Ark" series.
Mandy, a vets' daughter always helps animals in need. A mother hedgehog's had a narrow escape from a car accident. She's being treated so somebody has to take care of her babies. But this somebody isn't willing to let them free...


What hits me the most in these books is the fact that Mandy is such an obedient child. She accepts she can't have the pets. That's why I think it's a very good reading for contemporary children ;)

"Rose Madder" - Stephen King

Nie jest to horror sensu stricto, aczkolwiek sposób, w jaki mąż traktuje główną bohaterkę można tak właśnie nazwać :( Rose od niego ucieka i rozpoczyna nowe życie w innym mieście. Odkrywa talent, o którym do tej pory nie wiedziała oraz zupełnie inny świat. A tymczasem jej mąż - psychopata, ale i utalentowany policjant - jest na jej tropie.

Książka trzyma w napięciu, jak zwykle u Mistrza-Rzemieślnika ;)
